"less than 100 KG: AL BY THE EUROPEAN WEEK OF WASTE REDUCTION, 22-30 November 2008
Assoutenti joins and invites everyone to participate in European Week waste reduction from Saturday, November 22, 2008.
The European Week of waste reduction is promoted in Europe by the Cities and Regions for Recycling and sustainable use of resources ( http://www.acrplus.org/ ). Italy has officially nominated to participate with a group of institutions and associations that are engaged on the front of the sustainable waste management: Federambiente, National Observatory on Waste, National Coordination of Local Agenda 21, 21 Waste Network, Legambiente.
waste production is growing, but everyone can do something to prevent it and reduce it: this initiative is l’occasione per manifestare o sperimentare in varie forme il proprio impegno:
· contribuendo a diffondere il principio della prevenzione dei rifiuti anche a mezzo della Campagna informativa “Meno 100 kg” e preferibilmente per via telematica minimizzando così la stampa
· partecipando ai numerosi incontri ed eventi organizzati in tutta Italia da istituzioni, enti locali, associazioni, imprese, scuole ecc. (vedi calendario eventi)
· compiendo piccole buone pratiche quotidiane e documentandole sul sito www.menorifiuti.org
Sono numerose le iniziative che si terranno in tutta Italia e numerosi i sostenitori della Campagna informativa. Tutti i dettagli, il calendario degli eventi e l’elenco dei partecipanti the Campaign are available on http://www.federambiente.it/ .
Please note that, on the occasion of the European Week, and Legambiente Federambiente organize, November 24 in Salerno, the bell stage of the cycle of seminars "Toward the national program of prevention: from local experiences."
The materials of the information campaign "Less than 100 kilograms" were prepared by the Italian Local Agenda 21 and are available to all citizens on the site http://www.a21italy/ .it/a21italy/cerr_08.php. The formats were defined in order not to waste paper. This is a 16-page booklet aimed primarily at institutions and local organizations, citizens and consumers for a brochure, a poster in which you can insert references to a local initiative, a poster to be posted on the bulletin boards and in public spaces.
it also takes this opportunity to raise awareness and to empower citizens caves to the careful observance of the day and time of delivery of the waste. to have a clean city must all contribute actively even at the cost of supporting the small sacrifices in the public interest tutta.aiutateci to build better cities with determining your contribution!
